When I send out e mails, I get one of two messages at the top:

"Message was sent successfully"

-or-

"Message was sent"

Now I've had some recent trouble with the spam filter catching messages that weren't spam. So I'm wondering if the lack of the word "successfully" means that my message was not actually sent, but caught by the spam trap. Any thoughts on this?

I have never noticed a difference in the wording. I suppose it has something to do with the new filtering system. (which by the way is being adjusted) Actually, i think the system was chosen, because it can be customized. In fact i know, that is a priority issue..the rest is up to the site developers.

Charles would have more input, as to site development.

A lot of my messages haven't been recieved. I know because I talk to the girl on the phone and ask her if she got it and she says no. It's very frustrating.

As markecephus pointed out, an adjustment we made last week turned out to be too aggressive. We have pulled it back to where it was originally, though, so messages being sent now are subject to the same rules as a couple weeks ago.

As for the different messages posted by EZ4Sheezy, they do not indicate which ones will be caught and which are not. Here is the way it works:

"Message was successfully sent"
- initiating an email to another user, which includes this form:
http://mingle2.com/inbox/new

"Your message has been sent"
- replying to an email
