As the weekend folds to a close today.
I have to ask you if you had a good time your way.
Did you sit alone, and have family call on the phone.
Or did you party and have a few drinks.
Maybe some giggles and some winks.
Mine was spent in a five star motel.
But this is life and I am well.
Many friends have taken different roads.
As for me I am still pulling the same loads..
I hope you all find friends here to play and just be.
It is a place that has brought the world to me.
From far away lands to west coast sands.
People come here from far and near.
Some with problems and a tear.
Some leaving a relationship, and full of fear.
But no-matter your need to call this place your home.
Someone will always be up to let you know, YOUR never alone.
For those of you still working and have real lives to live.
PLEASE don't forget the many who need YOU to give.
Life is a struggle now for many on this site.
Everyday they have a need to let in some light.
Be a friend, be a comic, hell, if ya want, go off topic.
Just be real and make a stranger smile, because in the end,
It will be YOU they call their FRIEND.
