I have thought about this as well.

I can walk up the wall! Why can't I post a picture proving it!

I've never really cared, unless it is a picture of them...then it doesn't make a lot of sense. Kind of difficult to twist my head, so I don't usually bother.

Now, a better question...why serial killers? Oh...well, this one kind of backfired on me...erhm..

sometimes more height than width is desired, therefore you turn camera 90 degrees

That's like saying:

Cat pictures: Why?

Guy holding up dead fish pictures: Why?

Cleavage pictures: Why?

Pictures of more than one person, and they never tell you which one is actually on the site: Why?

There was a time, awhile back, when about 67% of all the women on the site were using a picture of lips as their main pic: Why?

Some things there are just no answers for.

People are going to post all kinds of pics.

I just figure they like that particular pic. I don't really have to understand it.

It's not as though it can't be simply fixed. Is it laziness?

Because he is a very debonair skunk. And he is not sideways.

My impression, when I see one like that, is that it's usually that way intentionally.

Well, THAT has a very sound and legitimate logistical purpose. I just can't go into it right now.

I actually understand reasons for all of those Lex. However, the sideways pics can be changed with one mouse click. I do not get it. Perhaps I'm just being thick.

Possibly they don't possess the programs or know HOW to use the programs they have to fix them.

PAINT comes with Microsoft suit and it's the easiest to use! A person doesn't even need Irfan View or Photoshop.

This is the only thought that crosses my mind regarding sideways pix.

I get the sense that most have not figured out it can be changed.... Or am I underestimating my fellow humans?
