Okay, I've decided to make this thread to tell everyone why I'm so obsessed with wolves. Atlantis seems to think there's a little bit too much wolf in my life while others just think I'm overally obsessive. This is the story.
When I was 15, I started working at a dog kennel located on a horsefarm. I was there for six years. In my time working at the kennel, a wolf hybrid rescue boarded their rescues for a short time. One animal was 98% timber wolf and magnificant looking. The other two were about 70 some percent wolf. The timber wolf had breathtaking amber eyes while the other two had bright blue eyes. I spent a lot of time with these three and even have a picture. They were so loving and playful, especially the timber wolf, it was incredible. From that moment on I gained an obsession with wolves -- collecting books, pictures, comforters, figurines, coasters, mugs and virtually anything you can think of. I relate quite well to the wolf as they are highly misunderstood. I believe they have quite a story to share if they could just like myself. I feel no one can quite understand unless you have looked into the eyes of a wolf and caught a glimpse of the beauties they really are. Now that that's settled ... where's my pack at? |

I have a wolf's head tattoo and several plates from the Franklin Mint depicting wolves.
I have always found them to be majestic creatures. |

Yeah if you search online, you can find amazing furniture and end tables and so forth with wolves. I want ...
I have this knife that is about 8 inches long. Its got wolves carved for the handle and the knife is painted in color with wolves. Its beautiful. |

Have you found an overally large dream catcher made with brown leather and a wolf centered in it as a picture? My mom did in the Poconos (PA) I believe. also amazing. I advise you too find it lol

  What got me started was I got a 85% wolf &15% huskey pup.When I went to pick one out.They said ,watch out for the heard.And boy, that is what I got.12 of them.This female jumped over all of them and claimed me.With out a doubt.The best dog I ever had.Been in love with them ever since.No other animal can compare.
I too have a wolf tatoo,Plates,license plates say (my wolf).puzzels,and any thing I can get my hands on.The one thing I find with collecting wolf stuff.Is that people that collect never seem to have the same stuff.Do you find this too? I also am getting howling backup tail lights.

awesome. I don't know .. catseyes and I seem to have some similar things. I suppose it depends really on wher eyou live and what states are around you. |

awesome. I don't know .. catseyes and I seem to have some similar things. I suppose it depends really on wher eyou live and what states are around you. I have knives and all the same kind of stuff too.But I have yet to find someone with the same identicle stuff.Cheak it out.Kinda weird.

wolfchic, yeah, I don't know why that is. Personally, I think the wolf lovers are spread out a good distance from each other. I've never met another wolf person in real life ... EVER WolfEyez To me you started a good thread. I am from Montana,and there are a few people that raise wolves. I get people leaving notes on my car all the time.Because of my plates.They are mostly Breeders.So cool!

i was at goodwill the other nite and i found this awsome pic of a indan and a wolf with buffiols and i was looking at it and the wolf eye is actually indians eye its pretty cool......yes i bought it Who WOULDN'T buy it?? i collect snowglobes and i actually have a wolf one i have been wanting a native american with a indian in one but havent found that yet... i also collect peppers shakers and i have a few indian ones but no wolf yet but im looking |

Thank you I would love to live in an area like Montana. Better my chances of meeting a full blooded wolf. We aren't aloud to own wolves in NJ and if we want a hybrid, depending on your town, it has to be a certain percentage of dog. It blows, lol.

Its a small one though. about the size of a figurine. I've found that Lancaster, PA and the Poconos, PA is a great place to find wolf things. |
