Maybe we should wait till around Halloween, BUT THAT'S TOO FAR AWAY!
We'll just have to have TWO! Be it simple, or very elaborate, use some makeup, and/or various accoutrements to "get into character", take a pic, then use that as your main profile pic. As we have had a complaint or two regarding those who, for whatever reason, have not POSTED a profile pic, this would also be a great way to reveal yourself to the world? Who's game? I'm thinking we should be "in character" as our main profile pic by September 1st...PLENTY of time for those of us who would like to take this seriously, and do something elaborate. This is also plenty of time for you shy ones to screw up the courage, and the creativity, AND to learn the simple process of actually POSTING A PROFILE PIC, to get your game on. Who's with me? PHOTO UPLOAD INSTRUCTIONS: If you currently have no picture of yourself posted on your profile because: A. You're too shy, or question your own beauty.. 1) Get creative, and "get into character" with makeup and other paraphernalia...reveal yourself without actually showing yourself! Lets' see your inner Marilyn Monroe, James Bond, tiger, sex kitten, devil, vampire, comic book hero, vegetable, etc. ... 2) Get one of those Mardi Gras, "mask on a stick"; hold it before your face before the picture is taken (mystery "sells"...) B. ...still don't have the technical know-how to capture a picture of yourself, load it into your PC, then upload it to mingle2.com, AND/OR C. ...you don't HAVE a digital camera THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE PRIMARILY FOR THOSE WITH WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM... 1) Go to your local Walmart, and get a disposable camera. 2) Ask someone to take pictures of you with it... 3) When you've taken all the pictures the camera will allow, take it back to Walmart, to the Photo Center. 4) Tell them you want it on DISK. 5) When you get the disk, insert it into your PC... 6) On your profile, click "Edit photo", under the space where your pic will be displayed... 7) Click the "browse" button, right side of the window... 8) Click computer>the drive your disk is in... 9) Click on a photo you like (will appear next to "file name" at the bottom of the window... 10) Click "Open"... The file name will appear next to browse button in the mingle2 interface... 11) ...then click "Upload". Repeat this for any other photos on the disk you'd like to add to your profile. Admittedly, this may be a bit over-simplified...but it should work. Ask any mingler for further help. |
