ABESOL helps. Rinse with warm salt water. If you have and antibiotic the pain is from infection. Ice will reduce the swelling. I would not recommend alcohol. You are already stressing your heart, stomache, kidneys pumping infection through your system without adding alcohol that will dehydrate you and maybe make you vomit bringing more infection into the mouth. Avoid useing a straw as it will amplify the pain. okay but thats if I have an infection. and the pain is coming back .... HELLO! |

Gin soaked raisins for 20 minutes, and brace wax to fill the cavity. Drug stores carry something called tempanol. (sp) it works but doesn't last long. If you apply it right, you can actually eat a meal with it. Anything, that will get the air off of the nerve will help. |

Go to your nearest pharmacy and get some dental gum. You break a piece off and put it in your filling. Trust me... it helps. It won't take it away completely but it does take the edge off. |

Probably looking at a root canal or extraction so I would call United Way First Call for Help and see if they can referr you to a dental clinic/school or maybe a public hospital dental clinic. This will cost you from $200. to $750. or more if you get and implant. You can go to CareCredit.com and apply for a credit line upto a $1000 interest free for the first year. Definitely want to pay it off before the interest kicks in because it is high. Phone is 1-866-893-7864. |
