Dear Diary..... just when you think it is all done and dusted...something comes out of left field! The house my son was buying? The owners have changed their minds... BUT......what comes from that is even betterer! The vacant block of land next to us is for sale...and well, it's right next door...and well...it's pretty cheapish...$180 000 and well....we're going to truck a house onto it...and we found a betterer house to put on it...it's EXACTLY the same floor plan as the house we all used to live in ...back when Dan and I were in love the first time...and it's cheaper to do this, truck the house in, restump it, reroof it, a new rain water tank, new wiring, new kitchen and bathroom than buying the other one and not having done a thing. Have a look...it's pretty cool...well, it will be when I rip all the carpet up, polish the floors, repaint and do all the arty interior decorating stuff...it has 3 bedrooms, and two enclosed verandahs, which we call sleep outs..so has plenty of room...and it's shabby! http://www.myhome.com.au/buy/qld/south-east-queensland/bundaberg/house/p000ye35/
