There is a man he served for his country [Australia]in the WAR in
Vietnam. He was a soldier in that pointless war.He sits on a bench seat
outside a bank in the main street of the city were i do my shopping and
beggs for money for a cup of coffee. People call him Blanket Bob.The
only possesions he has are the clothes he stands in and his neatly
rolled blanket. GOD BLESS YOU! He says to any passer by who gives him
money. He sleeps under the stars out side a church when the weather is
fine.He was to young to vote when they gave him a gun to tote.HE does
not drink coffee much.He likes Port Wine and by the looks of his ragged
hagged body thats about all he has to dine.His teeth are black stumps so
chewin food is not his go.I sit with Bob and talk with him while he
beggs.People give him their change never look him in the eye GOD BLESS
YOU he says they never look back just walk on by.He has been bashed and
battered black and blue by kids with nothing else better to do.Ive heard
it said Dont give him money hell only drink it hes a returned soldier
hes got money.SO people laugh and think its funny cause we live in a
land of milk and honey.

i would take him to my house and give him so much this so heart
wrenching
its a shame but it happens every where

and there are far too many "Blanket Bob's"

You know my brother was killed in Vietnam and I often wonder if he
hadn't been killed what he would have been like after the war. He was
such a tender and gentle soul that I think it would really have affected
him. He could have turned out like this man.
Even though its been 41 years since he was killed I sit here and cry as
I write this. I miss him so much!
After reading that I just wanted to share.

THERE is NO GLORY in ANY WAR there is never any justification for any
WAR stop and think Americans watt is the point the writing is on the

kariZman we as Americans might believe that there is no glory in war and
that it is all for nought. But what do you do when they are attacking
your friends? What do you do just stand back and watch them be
destroyed or wait until they come and get you? And then what do you do
just let them kill you and yours? Or do you fight back?

why do people want to hate and kill someone they dont even know

fighting is a fact of life cause peace doesnt pay.sad but true.
But i will defend me and mine against outside threats if need be.

there is is fear in the hearts of the people of your country why do you
carry this fear thoughts and feelings are not real you are not being
attacked you are in a forigen land insighting hate keep going if you
want your fears realised .
