LOL!!! I hope that was a joke! (I don't want to offend someone who doesn't understand) Have you looked at the national debt? The debt that will result from the fascist ObamaCare plan and the phoney wars? I plan on buying gold when I can, because the dollar is going into hyperinflation in the future on the path we're currently headed.

I invested into water believe it or not 15 years ago. Since then the value went up 134%.
Recession can be fixed, but it takes alot of cooperation amongst the government and people. That is the problem in todays society. No one seems to get along anymore for there are so many idealogies afloat for personal interests. This is very sad indeed. |

Water is a good investment, like food and precious metals. :) I disagree about your other point-to the extent that it is in fact government spending that CAUSES inflation and recession to begin with. (See Rothbard, Mises, Hayek, and Ron Paul's econ books) This means that citizens and government are eternally at odds, as the government always want to spend citizens' money (aka theft). Selfishness is not in itself a bad thing, as it is critical to civil society (i.e. property rights, ownership of scarce resources, etc) but it is in excess. |

Considering the kinds of things people do not get along 'about', it won't change any time soon. And considering just how ordinary people might handle things if there were no government, I would not want my fate and that of my family left in the hands of ordinary people with some pretty radical views.

Then dismantle the government and take care of your family yourself with the money you get to keep instead of having it taxed or inflated away by government! :) |
