How many people out there have found success with hooking up at a coffee shop (Caribou etc) and have found or had success?

that's my favorite place to meet! It's short, non-committal, casual and easy to leave if it's a drag. Also it is less expensive which lowers the pressure all the way around.

I haven't had any success w/ coffee houses but then again I haven't made any effort on a consistent basis.The times I've gone into them randomly I've noticed most patrons attention are on their l//t's or newspaper or txt'g.I wouldn't dismiss the idea entirely though.Give it a try.Godspeed!Cy

Aww, I thought this thread was gonna be about coffee.
 Coffee is my friend. Rare is the time when it's low in my cupboard. I don't do that trendy crap like "coffee houses". |

Coffee is a staple of life for me. I can't see spending $5 for a cup of it though, unless I'm metting someone at a coffee place even then I prefer to go to a small diner where its less than a buck with breakfast and free refills.
