Nope, my dog turned out to be more loyal than my ex.

She never cheated on me, never went out and got drunk, never wrecked the
car, never got a DUI, never got in trouble with the law, never wrote hot
checks, never cussed me out or called me any bad names at least that I
could understand.

Nope, the pets stay.

Why give them up? There's always room for compromise. If they're
allergic, maybe they can take medication for it, or the pet can be moved
outdoors or to a friend/family member's house where you can still see
your pet. If they're just stubborn and don't want the animal around,
then I'd say that's a big red flag as far as how well other compromises
will go in your relationship...

I don’t do well with ultimatums but if there would be medical, allergies

I wouldnt give up my cats for anyone , nor give up on them when they are
sick either. I lost my kitty baby gray in feb after dealing with kidney
failure for 2 1/2 months. It took alot to keep him going, IV fluids 2x
a day, and other medicines every 12 hours. on really bad days i needed
to assist feed him too. I had friends say why dont you just put him to
sleep and get another cat...:(( I quickly found out how insensitive some
people can be about pets. incidently if anyone else is going thru a
kitty with CRF i might be able to offer some assistance as well.
As if no one can tell my pets are as important as friends and those
close to me too.
some nice looking kitties and dog in the reply pics here.

Hello Mark in the blue box!!! I know how you feel about people saying
that...though I had never experience kitty kidney failure, I have had
other things happen. And people are insensitive!!!

There once was a great bumper sticker out there, it said:

"The more people I meet....the more I love my dog(cat)!!!

Sometimes I think that is a dead on sentence!!! happy

Ok i suppose sometime i ll put up a pic of me and gray kitty.
This cat was just a big baby.....in his prime he was nearly 30 lbs. and
the friendliest and mellowest ive ever seen.
His idea of a big day was to get pet....eat a can of food, and lay back
down. Was cute too because after he took a long nap he would greet you
again as if you were the one that was gone awhile.
Yeah sometimes pets can tell when your having a down day and cheer you
up.

One of my favorite post-it pads I have says:

"The more I know men, the more I love my dog."

Hope I didn't offend anyone, but I think it is cute.
