it's hard to balance the darkness & light,
that lives inside the soul,
they never rest, always fight,
to win and gain control.
the battle burns & rages wild
i bite my tongue until it bleeds,
holding back the nasty bile,
on which the darkness feeds.
acting polite & using tact,
the mask of light i wear,
while inside the darkness wants to react
to scream,curse,spit & swear.
to yell at all humanity,
for the stupid **** they do,
that does nothing but spread insanity,
to everyone, even me & you.
but the light knows that there's still some hope,
in this messed up human race,
hiding in people like you & me
& puts the darkness back in its place...
