And why is this political matter?

Why politicans and various other individuals with absolute no credibility are discussing this and issuing various policies around...actually why are there actually policies? Why does the government has to stick its nose into it?

And why do I feel like, that the end of the day, the end of the whip will be striking the taxpayers' back and this is really all about?

It's all about money. The oil peeps stand to lose billions as the greenies stand to gain billions, and the politicos all have their hand out. The earth is a biome that is constantly changing, sometimes it warms and sometimes it cools...sometimes the poles switch and that really messes things up.

Funny thing is...recent research says that the other planets in our solar system are warming up, while the Earth is currently cooling down.

It's just another " doomsday " scenario to keep us all living in fear and pliable.

You really gotta watch where you get info from because as I said there's billions to be gained and lost.

And lets not forget that 1st it was "The green house effect caused by green house gasses" then it became "Global warming" and now it's "Climate change" which the latter of the three is correct, the climate is changing. The question is why, is it a natural phenomenon or caused by man? it could be a mixture. The problem is there is NO irrefutable proof from either side to back up their theory.

I/we know the earth has changed several times in its 5 billion year life so I'm inclined to think its the planet doing what the planet has always done and change. The atmosphere we live in has not changed meaning the O2 and Hydrogen levels have not changed and are not changing.

At any rate I just hope the polar bears and other arctic life can adapt quick enough to survive. Hopefully the environmental change will spur a change in their behavior and they can exist in the climate, some I'm sure will but most will not and this is when we will see either a new species or an adapted species come into the picture.
