The planet has always gone through changes..cooling, warming, new islands, wonders such as the grand canyon..why would mother Earth stop this cycle just people WE are here now..

But, but, but...it's NOT Mother Earth that's doing the changing this time. It's MAN....

So say the Global Warming hacks, who have now changed their tune and started calling it " Climate Change ".

Personally...I have been hearing more and more evidence that points to the fact that Global Warming/Climate Change are nothing more than natural cycles that man has very little impact on.

Geologically this planet is never static. Always changing.

Whether we help the changes or not is the only debate out there.

Never once has any geologist suggested that the earth would not change if we weren't on it.

Maybe there is a fair amount of truth to 6 billion bodies accelerating the natural process...I am open to that possibility, again, Mother Earth is gonna do what she's gotta do..

Ummmm...Geologists aren't the ones doing all the squawking about changes in the weather.

Yeah, well..there is a recent occurrence that is putting a serious crimp in the " Global Warming " hacks style.

A recent lack of sunspots ( of historic proportions ) is causing the Earth to cool a bit. One thing to keep in mind is that, while the Earth is cooling off just a bit, all of the other planets in the solar system are actually getting warmer.

What does that say for the " Global Warming " people squawking that man is causing all these problems...unless you are completely oblivious, you can pretty much figure out that " Global Warming " is nothing more than a scam.

Just another " doomsday " device used by politicians to impose more taxes on us.

You're kidding, right?? That's almost as laughable as my father saying that Global Warming was caused by NASA sending rockets to the Moon....lmao

Geology has even less to do with the weather than man does.

Wanna know where our weather starts??? Take a look at the sun.

JAG, what about shooting the moon? Do you think that has any effect on us?
I'm just curious as to your thoughts on it..flowerforyou

" Shooting the Moon " in what sense??

Do you mean the recent purposeful impact done by NASA???

That is really rude.

If you understood me, I said geologist are who start the squawking because they theorize and pass the information on to governments.

That is really rude.

It wasn't a big enough impact/explosion to cause any major differences in the Moon's gravity field, which is what causes the tides and a few other effects here on Earth.

The only effect it could really have had was to let scientists know how much water could be found on the Moon and to start trying to come up with feasible ways of harvesting it for potential human settlements on the Moon.

It's " rude " to point out that Geologists have not had ANY effect on the theory of " Global Warming "???

Meteorologists are the ones that started theorizing about that particular " occurrence ". The Geologists came in later with warnings about the ice packs in the Arctic and Antarctic regions.

How exactly is it rude to point out that you are wrong???

Did I not phrase it gently enough for you??

ok...I actually disagree ( as far as it not affecting us) am always interested in your thoughts on such subjects. Thanks flowerforyou

Meteorologists are not the start of global warming theories, for one and yes you were rude with your answer. Geologists are the start of it and meteorologists chime in on it. Global warming and weather changes are all geological events.

Wow.

Just....wow.

I am just gonna take a guess here....but...

Have you bought in to Al Gore's propaganda and do you also think Cap and Trade for " carbon credits " is a good idea???

That;s cool.

I am open minded enough to accept that some may feel effects that not everyone else would. flowerforyou
