No, regardless if you believe in the truth or not it's a sin. That's like saying you don't believe in the government so if you speed it's not against the law, or if you murder someone it's not against the law.

A sin is a sin regardless if you believe it's a sin or not.

Regardless if I believe in the truth? Ahh I see...your one of those. Your right no matter what. Those who dont believe what you believe are automaticly wrong. Ha ha...ignorance is bliss.

If I speed...I will get a ticket. I will have to to court. I will have to pay a fine.

If I use your gods name in vain...its a sin in your eyes, not mine. And therefore I will not face any punishment.

No not true lol, would be nice to think that. But it's not sin in just my eyes it's a sin said straight from our lord and great God.

I don't really use the term sin. I don't look at others as sinners. I see it more as choice, a mistake, a learning lesson. We are here to experience life and to grow spiritually. If we label that which we choose not something we want to experience as sin..we are making a judgment call on another. If we never experience "mistakes" or bad choices how can we ever really learn compassion. We as parents see our children make a bad choice and suffer the consequences. We walk them through it and hope and pray they have learned from it. We all have to own our own experiences...that is how we grow.
If every mistake is a sin, we learn to feel guilt, not compassion.
Which of these will bring us closer to "God"? Guilt or compassion?

very true but you will not have guilt without the compassion. Compassion is a caring feeling, if you don't care why would you feel guilty for doing or not doing something.

There are far more sins, than that of the ones above sin,,
And THATS A FACT, wink......Yet,,MANY ACT,that they our, w/o sin.
No man or woman,,,although thats NOT stated that way, is above sin.

I often wonder just how many Christians today, Think, and believe
that heaven, is the frozen place of time, as written THEN that it is
still THAT,,,Today?

Jesus wore the clothes of that era,,,here on earth THEN.

What, would HE wear, In his RETURN now?

Opens MANY thoughts as to as WE have CHANGED and become,
WHY, should we FEEL, HEAVEN,,,,,Did Not?????

Jesus, as with Adam's design,,as being un-clothes ed,
Could have remained raw as to cover him self,,,
Yet,,He lived and wore,,that which was traditional, to THAT era..?

Sorry,,,,back to sins,,,,in my thoughts of WONDER,,,,excuse me.

I have seen your posts...I'm quite sure we will disagree extensively here.
So I will not banter with you on this subject, you'll need to seek another and there are many on here that will be more than happy to do so.
So I will leave this thread on this note.
I experience compassion, always, everyday along with forgiveness. I do not experience guilt....

don't much care for the word sin as it's primarily a word from scripture. but for the sake of argument, a sin is a breach of my own moral standards. i can sin or another person can sin if they violate what i consider to be morally correct. what others think is sin matters not to me.

exactly good way to put it. Sin is doing what the bible tells us not to do, and if we do it that would be sinning. If the bible tells us to do something, and we don't that is sinning.
