i am committed to going to a christmas party tonite, a family friendly event, friends from when i was married will all be there. the thing is, ive been split from my x for nearly 3 yrs. and she is invited and going too , and im not sure why i feel weird about this but shes bringing a date and it hit me strange. believe me when i say i dont wanna be with her, but i just am really not in the mood to see her with someone else, especially when thats the reason we are divorced in the first place....sorry about the rant

That really sucks. Do you really want to go to this party? Because, if you don't care one way or the other, maybe you could just skip it.

Too bad you don't have a hot date you could take with you...then you wouldn't even care about what she was doing

A tough situation but go and be charming and make her wonder why she was such an idiot to screw things up

do you have somebody to go with? maybe you could focus your attention on someone else. does sound like a questionable time, maybe you'll enjoy your friends there so much that you won't really notice her.
