i am committed to going to a christmas party tonite, a family friendly event, friends from when i was married will all be there. the thing is, ive been split from my x for nearly 3 yrs. and she is invited and going too , and im not sure why i feel weird about this but shes bringing a date and it hit me strange. believe me when i say i dont wanna be with her, but i just am really not in the mood to see her with someone else, especially when thats the reason we are divorced in the first place....sorry about the rant

the people having the party made sure and asked me 3 times over the last couple weeks if im coming and i said yes all 3 times. my 7yr old son is really looking forward to going and its my weekend with him. santa will be there....
