Betty, tell me all about your party....was the beans a hit? The party was great ,your beans were a huge hit,in fact my niece asked me to make them for her party on New years day. I made a crockpot full and there was only a scoop or two left.I didn't put in all the meat though ,just a bit of bacon. |

did you get any s--w today Mary? about 2 inches here we only got about an inch....more tomorrow, then Tuesday, and finally the BIG storm Wednesday through Thursday....they said it MIGHT stay more south...man I hope so, but the models still show both you and I getting slammed and with high winds.
I got enough cookies and candies to feed an army....so guess I COULD live on that if I had to....

So Jan,what are your plans for Christmas? Do you have to work? Off Christmas eve, work Christmas day.... My brothers are supposed to come in about 3 days after Christmas for out celebration with Dad...I hope the roads are OK for it. |

Told ya they were great...I put tons of meat in mine so it is almost a meal in it self....course, the Italian sausage I use is only made locally by an Italian family so it probable would taste different. I tried to use cheaper sausage once and it wasn't as good, but you are right, bacon alone does the trick too. |
