LOGAN - January 10, 2010 (WPVI) -- A pizza deliveryman has died after being carjacked in the Logan section of Philadelphia.






Police say at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, a 60-year-old pizza delivery driver was carjacked at the intersection of 20th Street and Godfrey Avenue.

After the carjacking he called a family member to drive him from 20th and Godfrey to the pizza shop he works at on Ogontz Avenue.

He walked inside the shop and said, "20th and Godfrey, 20th and Godfrey." The man then collapsed.

He was transported to Einstein Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police are now looking for the suspects who stole the man's 1992 red Nissan Sentra.



there was a girl that i went to grade school with and in high school, my older sister used to babysit her in grade school
her dad was wealthy he own one of the car losts in town and when his daughter disappeared he sold his car lot or he lost it cant remember. but if i recall right he died and then a numbers yrs later her uncle died
she worked as a pizza driver after highschool and she disappeared and no one knew where she was. several yrs ago there was a guy that had already been in jail for murder of someone else and he admited of killing sheri ereraly(mispelled her lastname) her case finally got closed after 25yrs...

If the person who did this is caught would you be satisfied if he got 12 months in jail because he was only 14 when he did it ? I my self would like to see the guy and his whole family killed .

when sheri murder admired to killing her, he had already been served 2 life senstences for killing 2 others so he got charged for sheri death.. sheri was 18yrs old and her mother was in the court room when this man confessed. her family can now have peace

i had a cousin when he was 17 he used to hang around the wrong crowds and he was so hung up on drugs he stabb a man a number of times and killed him he was senstence i belive to life but only got 5yrs for good behavior.. he has been clean a number of yrs and has a family. he got his life in order.. just because one person in that man family was bad doesnt mean the other part of the family would be so why kill them if they didnt do anything it was the son that did it, for he deserves to be punished as the family has already been for they have to suffer for what there son, brother did

All it takes is the death penalty idealism and naturally it evolves into that kind of thought process.

I wasn't trying to get this personal with this . my question is ( what if the killer is 14 years old would you think its fair if he only got 12 months for it as a juvenile . ) A lot of people would say yes . I feel if you take a life in an unacceptable fashion you should die to . the victim doesn't get rehabilitated or returned to life . I know that its more punishment to keep a guy locked up for the rest of his life but to get that pound of flesh we have to pay a whole lot of money and i for one don't want to . I need the money I worked for .
