There are people in need all over...sad that it takes a tragedy with such enormous suffering for others to feel enough to want to help..
has always been that way. As long as it takes such a crisis to bring us together, they will continue to happen. Unfortunately.

Well I care about America waaaaaaaaaaaay more than any other country anywhere in the world

Thats just me and my opinion

I havnt felt close to anyone cause of this thing

But when somthing happens here in America I feel it deeply

America is my country of birth The land I love

How come Hollywood isnt rallying round the Americans who have no jobs or who have houses in forclosure or who cant feed their children

How come hollywood isnt throwing huge elaborate benefits for those with no health insurance

I know I am coming across cold as ice

but this is how I feel and tonight hollywood is pissing me off!!!

I care about ALL life..these people have sooo much less than we do.
Another human being doesn't have to be an American for me to feel their pain. Matters not where they are....these children who are experiencing enormous suffering are no less precious than my children or yours..

it is tragic, but another country needs to step up for a change, we sweep our starving children under the rug so we can help others. no one helped us with Katrina. I'm tied of us helping every one else out and we cant even help ourselves.I know this is a cold way to look at it but enough is enough. american people help and help and help, when all the money we raise will go to a good cause but how much tax payers money was spent to deploy our rescue teams and troops to help, that money doesn't come from your donations, it comes from tax payers. Its sad to see a country that the only thing they no how to do is have children,no education, no real government system in place. But every bible banging group in our country asking for money to help them and this has been an on going thing for years. Its time for change over there. I know it is sad what happened , they do need help , Our country had nothing when we started but look at us now, It is because we have the will to change, hopefully they will get the will to do the same.

I totally agree with you. I feel the same way here in Canada. It frustrates me to see thousands homeless and instead of helping them, the money is going to Haiti.

I will watch. It is heartwarming when people like these celebs , who have so much, give to people who have so little. It uplifts me to see the action and charity.

You dont think that alot of this is a charitable tax write off for them

Why are not they doing such elaborate things for our poor and suffering
