I have an online class that I cannot do. It keeps telling to turn off pop ups permantely. Though I have given permission for the site to pop up. What else can I do?

go to tools and then internet options. Select the privacy tab and uncheck "Block pop ups".

I have done that. I have allowed it and turned off pop up blocker. Do I need to reboot for it to take effect?

Shouldn't have to reboot. Might need to close internet explorer and then open it back up. Why would your school be concerned with pop ups. Can you copy and paste the error message you are getting?

I can't C&P it...but it says

Please turn off Popupblocker for this site permanently.

have you added the school website to your list of Trusted websites?

same thing,-tools-privacy tab-about the middle left side,it says Sites-click and add your school website.

unsure if that will help,but???

Do you have Mozilla?

Before I change everything, I would like someone else to try it with that browser.

I use Firefox.
It's easy to turn of the pop-up blockers if need be.

I had Google Chrome.
It crashed my computer constantly.
I got rid of it.

I don't use IE, for some reason it won't work on my PC.
