alone in the dark, by yourself,
can you handle it?
fumbling around there's not a sound
not a single candle lit.
it's just the ride inside your mind
when day is done and all subsides.
it's your collage of all the days events
all the uttered words and what they meant
is your conscious clear?
are you free from fear?
are the things you percieve as they appear?
when day subsides & you close your eyes
do you smile inside?
or do you try to hide? from yourself?
or will you sleep the sleep,
of the soulful deep
full of the peace your spirit keeps
from all of your unselfish deeds?

so after reading the poem...i got a question for you...
have you done a random act of kindness today?????

I let my kids live here and still feed them..that's pretty damn kind!!

Joking aside...yes today I did.. Not everyday though..very limited circle here. When I approach my LDS neighbors to be kind they close their curtains and turn off their TV's till I leave.

i did...an 85 yr old crippled man couldnt geg someone in the gas station to help him...so i stood outside in the freezing cold with a smile and pumped his gas for him..he was so greatful and happy when he left ..i been smiling all day...
