The perfect day for me wouldn’t need sunshine,
A day at the beach, skies of blue, or seashores.
The perfect day is one where your love is mine,
And you know the love that’s mine is yours.

On this perfect day, I know you love me so much,
On this perfect day, I readily melt at your very touch.
It’s a day where I’m wrapped up in your love cocoon,
Wondering, why does tomorrow have to come so soon?

My perfect day is the one that I spend with you,
Doesn’t matter much, where we go or what we do.
My perfect day is filled with all the love we share,
And my perfect day is one that always has you there.

The perfect day, it wouldn’t be able to be measured in hours,
But instead, it would be measured in this love that’s ours.
We wake up, we kiss, and there’s a smile upon her face.
Always the start of a perfect day, when by my side she lays.

The perfect day would start with my arms wrapped all around you,
The perfect day would end the same way, with your eyes to gaze into.
The perfect day is one where I know you would never go away,
We have eyes only for each other, that would be the perfect day.
