Since I have joined mingle2....I may have sent like 50 messages and friend requests...

and over 100 match requests!!

and "coincidently" i have not got a single reply...

anybody have any idea whats going on??

For Mutual Match...most say it doesn't work anyway.

As for emails and friend requests..not sure. Maybe fill out
a little more in your profile to give people a better picture
of you, and post in the forums, that's your best bet to get to
know others and let them get to know you.

My experience was essentially the same as yours -- I tried contacting people after I first signed up and never got a response.

But, after I had been here awhile, posted in the forums a lot, and became more visible, they started writing to me. I gave up on writing to anyone first, ages ago, but you don't have to if you develop a presence in the forums.

Definitely don't send friend requests right away. Save those for when you do start chatting with people.

What kind of emails are you sending that you're not getting replies? Make sure you're reading profiles and giving the people you're emailing something to reply to.

For now, start participating in the forums. They're a good way to meet people.

Hey guys, this place isn't magic, and "poof" ladies are kicking the doors down. You have to let them know who you are, not what you need or want this very minute....Complaining, gets you no where.....And you get what you pay for here...Ohhhhh, that's right it's free...

Get in the forums and be fun and funny, it looks better on you, and people will notice that.

By the way, I don't complain cause your young and stuff, so go where there are youth groups at your local church, oh they have "old" people there to, I guess life just suck sometimes...

trust me there's someone for everyone out there I felt the same way until i meet my current boyfriend on a similar way like this and ever since the first time we talked we been happy we talked for 6 days he asked we out before we met. We now are going for 6 of the happiest months together this friday. We working on better jobs that way we want too get married asap we just can not live without each other since he lives an hour and a half away makes a little difficult since i don't drive.... but he is totally worth it every single second....of it and he reminds me i'm worth it every single second of his....like we always talk about how many children we well have and the wedding theme ever since the first month dating hahah i know crazy.. but we clicked and we fell for each other...
