if all you do is bring people down, they don't want to hang out with
you. Get you some counseling....they make some good meds for
depression.....Good Luck Bro.

Classy...

I would say probably not. I know for me it is hard to be around people
that are depressed. I always feel as if it is my job to make them feel
better, and that is not easy to do. I would much rather be around people
that up. Your true friends will want to help you though the ROUGH
times....those are true and honest friends

Well from what I can read from here,NO you did nothing wrong. But do
understand how it is to be around someone who is depressed & sad etc a
lot. Been there & done that,The best advice I can give you is keep
going. Hold your head up high,Make your self smile & laugh,Better days
are just ahead of you.And when the time is right new & true friends &
maybe that special some one will come into your life.
Pray,Believe,See,Know that without a doubt your future is getting better
moment by moment.I know mine is that mine is.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU!! AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

If they were your friends before you were depressed they should still be
your friends. real friends don't leave you when your down.

I just try always to be the best friend possible. Because when it comes
down to the end you just have friends and family..

If all someone does is whine and ***** about how rotten their life is,
and does nothing about it, why would anyone want to be around that? Not
saying you're like that Jeff, but I know how it feels to have to live
with someone like that, and it does get old.

If you're that depressed, get some help. When I was depressed, I didn't
even want to be around people. I saw a doctor about it, I didn't like
feeling that way. If you're feeling bad, DO SOMETHING! Don't just sit
around and cry about it. It's more fun to be happy.

A good friend gives as well as recieve, I have been known to do
emotional weeding from time to time. I give so much but if you bring me
down with you then out comes the weed whacker !!!

True friendship should be a crutch, in times of emotional needs

Jeff,

Your friends may be having a difficult time trying to help you. One can
always find a rock which is too big to move by yourself. You really do
need to see someone professional to help you *and your friends* get
through this. It is a bump in the road which can and will be surmounted.
Today is a new day and it will get better!

But sometime or another everyone needs a hand.

something to consider...

friends and family also come to a point when they have to choose to
support your strength rather than your weakness.

if you have been having a pattern or cycle that you can notice, then it
is your strength to 'get over it'...however that may be

it can be as easy as changing your mind
or maybe seeing someone for shiatsu or acupuncture would be good, these
avenues treat holistically and can often be a great source of relief if
you are intimidated by meds.

friendships ...... the word is thrown around quite lightly from what i
see from here....don't throw the baby out with the bathwater

it's not over yetbigsmile

(unless they're not worth it to you to get what you need)

mentally...flowerforyou flowerforyou hope you feel better soon

you find out who your real friends are when you need them not when they
need you, they are there for you w/o being asked and don't avoid you for
any reason, bl8ant is right, the word is thrown around quite lightly
but not only here
