Now Filing Versions of Arizona's Immigration Bill SB 1070 May 21, 2010 One of America's national organizations fighting against illegal immigration is announcing that 17 states are now filing versions of Arizona's SB 1070 law which is designed to help local police enforce America's existing immigration laws. Numerous national and local polls indicated that 60-81% of Americans support local police enforcing immigration laws. "Our national network of activists have been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill," said William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. "Arizona no longer stands alone and we have now documented state lawmakers filing, or announcing they will file, versions of the Arizona bill in seventeen states! We will not stop until all states are protected from invasion as required by the US Constitution." ALIPAC has documented the following 17 states are following Arizona's lead in response to citizen pressure. ARKANSAS, IDAHO, INDIANA, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NEW JERSEY, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, TEXAS, UTAH Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has helped to pass some form of immigration enforcement legislation in over 30 states, while the group has also gained a national reputation for defeating legislation designed to give licenses, in-state tuition, and other taxpayer benefits to illegal aliens in 20 states. ALIPAC's President, William Gheen is a former campaign consultant, Legislative Assistant, state lobbyist, and Assistant Sgt-At-Arms staffer in North Carolina who has turned his local experiences into a political battle plan by driving the national operations of ALIPAC. "The Federal government has been hijacked by special interests that are neglectful of their duties and even hostile towards the rightful citizens of America," said William Gheen. "It is incumbent upon our states to protect American lives, property, jobs, wages, security, and health, when the Executive Branch fails to honor its Constitutional responsibility to do so by enforcing our existing border and immigration laws." Americans for Legal Immigration PAC lobbied state lawmakers and AZ Governor Jan Brewer to pass SB 1070, which strictly prohibits racial profiling while empowering local police officers to enforce immigration laws. ALIPAC's activists have been working for almost four weeks now to encourage state lawmakers across the nation to file versions of SB 1070, to help alleviate boycotts and other political antagonism towards Arizona. Citizen activist are being asked to call, e-mail, visit, and fax their state lawmakers to encourage them to support existing SB 1070 type bills or to file them as soon as possible. Why LAWDY ... ! I DO declayuah ... raise the duvet, children, a hard rain's a-gonna fall ... It looks like the states are using 'Alinsky Tactics' against 'The ONE' now in a move filled with wonderful ironic overtones ... the favorite tactic, namely that known as 'Overwhelm The System', seems to be coming full circle as more states join in the rebellion against the 'inactive-by-design' Federal 'do-nothing' response to the massive invasion by illegals from Mexico and points south of our southern border. I'd like to see EVERY state stand with AZ on this issue.

What I'm waiting to see is, if the states will actually enforce these laws.
An idea for them. Offer incentives to report Illegals, renters who rent to them, employers use use them, day worker programs the aid them, cops checking street corners where they congregate, hospitals should be required to check citizenship status. Not saying refuse treatment, just notify law enforcement so, they can pick them up after they are treated. I would even like to see a law that prosecutes Federal employees and Federal Law enforcement officials who refuse to enforce Immigration Law. Specifically, Hussein and Napalitano. Pelosi, if we could also. I'm sure there are lots of conservatives in prison who would really enjoy their company. Hell, put this Redneck in charge. I'd git 'er done! |

One day more people are going to realize that the federal government isn't the fix for the problems, it's the CAUSE of the problems.

" ^this in particular caught my eye as I have experienced "reverse dsicrimination" at work and in my personal life. In a few decades, there will be many places where caucasians will be in the minority, many of us for the first time. The best case scenario is of course "color-blindness" but it is not the most realistic. It is smart to ramp us EEO kinds of efforts now and afford the equal treatment (including the prohibition of profiling - esp. at work)while we are a racial and cultural majority. In this way, in the future, everyone has protection - regardless. And hopefully the good karma from those equal protection efforts will come back to us. |

If it was up to me, I'd change your screen name into sweetnpurtygirl11. Illegals come in all colors. Just happens Mexicans are the leaders in Illegal entry. It would be great if in the process of rounding up Illegals, they got them some sleeper terrorists also. You are verrry easy on the eyes, Sweets! ![]() |

Im just curious,, what would be the downside of being a minority? You bring up an interesting point when you mention that. Why do so many others complain on the one end that AA isnt needed because it gives 'preferences' to minorities,,but many of those same (not you) also are terrified of BECOMING a minority. If there truly is no tendency for the minority to be excluded or treated secondary,, what is the fear of becoming one? |

I searched Michigan's Legislature the other day and couldn't find a bill.... unless it hasn't been offered up on one of the floors yet.
