FYI. If you write [u.r.l.] before the link (Remove the periods. I have to place them there so that you will actually see what it is that I'm telling you to write) And then [/u.r.l.] (again, remove the periods) after the link, it makes it a "live" link. That way folks don't have to copy & paste.

I do have a question though. Seeing how this is a Christian Singles section, what is the point of the post? I'm thinking a more intriguing question would be pre- or post-tribulation rapture? That will stimulate some conversation.

I'm certainly not a theologian but I'm inclined not to believe in the rapture of the church - pre, mid or post trib. Like all followers of our Lord I look forward to Jesus' 2nd coming. Remember we've been in the last days since 70 CE with the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem.

Then please explain what the Apostle Paul was referring to in 1 Thes 4:13-18.

I think because rapture is not specifically mentioned, people have different interpretations causing the debate between Christs second coming,, vs a rapture

Hmmmm...Will the rapture be Pre-tribulation, Mid-tribulation or Post-tribulation? I believe it will be Pan-tribulation....However it pans out,God will take care of me!

I think the fuse is lit for the rapture mostly because I keep hearing how the Jews want the temple rebuilt again and have already made the blueprints for it.But there still hasn't been 7 years of peace for Israel.I believed the bible mentioned one world currency.Until Israel has 7 years of peace I am not worried.I have also not heard of false prophets having Jesus like powers like the bible said they would have so I think we are a ways off but will probably see it in our lifetime.

exactly how i see it. There are still many prophecies to happen before it does. But the rapture is fairly close i believe.

I have a hard time with the rapture doctrine since I don't see it spelled out clearly in the scriptures. I can see why it's popular though, since nobody in there right mind wants to go through any kind of trials & tribulations. I don't blame them.

Whatever God's plans are, I'm all for it

No it's not spelt out very clearly. Jesus himself even said he will come like a theif in the night.

Didn't a false prophet coin the word Rapture and 2x in the 1840's claim when it was?

Then when everyone sold and gave away everything they had the ch-rch decided to pick up this concept? Shalom...Miles

Miles is right to point out in a, not so obvious fashion, that the term was coined by someone & that the scriptures do not call the calling of the elect, the Rapture. Speaking of false prophets, the Jehovah's Witness' have made several predictions of the coming of Christ & obviously have been wrong.

And Cowboy., it's not so obvious. Please reread Matthew 24. The apostles asked Jesus a 3 part question. The question that everyone hangs on is what will the "sign" of your coming? Jesus doesn't deal with the specifics, in Matthew, like He does later on when revealing the end times to the Apostle John in Revelation. The better passages to read can be found in Thessalonians & Revelation.

And as for the 7 years of peace of Israel, if you're pre-trib, we would not be here to witness the 1st 3 & 1/2 years before the anti-christ breaks the peace agreement. If you're post-trib, we will be.

*The Rapture of the Church is God’s fulfillment of His Word that Jesus Christ will resurrect the dead and raise the living to His Father’s House. He gave His word that we would be with Him forever in Heaven. His promise was made for all of you, who in faith, received, with trust, His fulfillment of His Word. Jesus Christ die for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day, as our Lord and Savor. And, as fulfillment of His Word, Jesus Christ will, come for His Children. The mark on His calendar, is the mark placed by God Himself for the Rapture of His Church, and His Second Coming. I believe, and hope, that the time for His Rapture of His Children is soon, and may even be today.

What do you think will happen during the unleashing of the “Tribulation”, the time of trouble upon the world? What would you do if you were left behind and had to live thru the Tribulation?

My question for each of you:

"What would you Leave
Behind For Those who are
Left Behind?"

Try this link for the RAPTURE, I hope it helps :

ALSO, it may be a good thing to remember that historically in the bible those who were "Left Behind" were eliminated (for example when Jesus says, "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be....." (LUKE 17:26)

As i have said, go to the link i gave and read all of it, especially under heading of "The Rapture". It explains it better then i can here. Read it with an open mind and in search of the truth, no matter what the truth is.

What is this really saying in the time frame of Yahshua's return? Blessings...Miles

Rev 7:13-8:1
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"

14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know."

So he said to me,"These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of Elohim, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And Yahweh will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
