There is a super cool spot I like to go to and watch the sunset.
It's only 5 minutes to drive, then a 10 minute hike up the
mountain. It's up above the valley and a fantastic view....
As much as I enjoy my time alone, there are quite a few of you
here that I would love to show this to.

And tonight I'm wishing I could take you with me....
Sometimes the sunset is better with a friend.

Since I live in town our sunsets and sunrises are not anything they are like in the country or the mountains as well as the stars you gaze up at. It is like seeing something so beautiful every day and night..... so relaxing.........would love to be there to see it hope you enjoy every moment of it....

Nature is my friend..I'm at my best when I'm up there. It's a sight that deserves to be shared, particularly with those who have never had the opportunity to see the Rocky Mountains.

That's a gorgeous picture Kristi. Sunsets and rising is always awesome to see. Yes, there is a certain beauty of seeing it with mountains and lakes all around. Utah Lake is huge and behind it the row of mountains..quite a sight from up there. And since I live in town also, I have to go up the mountain to see the stars...city lights dull them here too.

They are particularly beautiful from the headlands out here too, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. damn... too late to get there in time now, though.

Yeah, I would think some nice spots where you are. To late for me to go up tonight too, didn't feel like going alone this time.

Pretty much the same view Fear...It's a spot at Rock Canyon that I told you about before...and Rock canyon is a part of the Wasatch. Yep, you've been here and seen it. In your new area there are some pretty awesome places too.
I love Winter Park...in the summer anyway.

Yup, have had the opportunity to see that too. A breathtaking sunset is just cool all the way around. The water does seem to make it a tiny bit awesome-er.

Aurora Borealis in the UP. I got to hang out at the spot this picture was taken and watch the Northern Lights, except when I was there it was just all red.

To be sitting on the shore at waters edge watching a sunset as this, sitting side by side with her head nestled on my shoulder, be a dream come true. Listening as the birds speak thier goodnight to others. Or the wisp of gentle breeze that would run through the air with all the smells that only nature can produce. Two hearts together beating in the same relaxed beat, sharing momements that will be forever imprinted in your mind. To feel the gentleness of her lips upon your cheek, as she wispers " I love you my dear " As It mingles together with the awsome beauty that God has painted on the horizon. Knowing that This awsome sight will be gone in a short period of time, a time you wish you could make stand still. You atune all your senses to capture all they are able to take in. Then, when the sun finally does finally fall and sits behind the creast , not to be seen till morrow. We both arise still hand in hand, making our way back to the cottage to reflect, and disccuse all the things that our senses took in. Finaly we make our way to bed with thoughts of love swirling in head. Knowing Yes, hand in hand, tomorrow night we will be sharing yet another sunset.
