Well, thats if you think the day starts at 8PM. Ours did.

We went bowling tonight over in Chester, NY. Super exciting, yes? Well, we did horribly. We could hardly break 100, when we usually average about 130-150. Carl, my friend, has this horrible habit of hitting the head pin dead on, creating impossible-to-pick-up spares. Namely, a 3-7-10 and a 6-7-10. He picked them both up, one frame after the next... I know someone here's gotta be a pro bowler and is gonna be all like "aw thats so easy, you just hit it <blah>". I don't care. We suck. It was epic.

FYI - Carl drives a 1940's Ford Pick-up truck that he literally pulled out of a swamp near his farm and re-built. Nothing on the truck is original, except its appearance. He's the kind of guy who no matter where he goes, he has a box of tools and spare parts in case his car breaks down. This is the one night he did not, oh and he needed a jump-start!

Well, we all piled into my Honda Accord and went to McDonalds. In the shortest drive we took ever (probably 1/10th mile), we saw 3 cop cars. Nothing special, they give out tickets like candy in Chester. ANYWAY, we ordered our food, and as we were heading back to the lanes we realized we didn't get any change. For about 15$ and change worth of food, and giving them 21$ (so we get an even 5 back), it seems like a pretty big deal. The 'tards didn't even give us a receipt...

Well we got back to the lanes and were gonna jump-start Carl's truck. Carl told my brother, who was driving, decides to pull up on the driver side instead (even though that puts the batteries on either car as far away from eachother as possible). So we're fine with it, totally not thinking this through. We attach the cables, let it run for a minute or two, then Carl starts his truck. Well, it just so happens that a loop in the jumper cables gets caught in his fan, and literally tears the terminals off his and my battery.

So we're stranded. Carl doesn't have his magical box-o-tools, and somewhere up there a higher being is laughing his *** off. Oh, it was raining, too. We managed to find enough peices of the terminals to duct tape them back together and onto our batteries. Never leave home without duct tape - you never know when you're going to need it.

So just as we're about to leave and get the **** outta there before something else happens, I found a 20$ bill on the ground in front of my car.
