Seize the day!

I recently lost my son and was not allowed to attend his funeral. I have been doing a lot of self healing and reflection and am at the part of the healing where I need to learn to seize the day.

Life is too short not to tell the people that are close to you how you truly feel. In a blink of an eye they can be gone. Sometimes we take things for granted just because we are use to them always being there. Not just with friends, but with the world around us. When was the last time you stopped to tell a friend that you loved them,or really take the time to feel the warmth of the sun?

Carpe diem, do not let life pass you by without telling the people closest to you how you truly feel.
