That is a lot of B-flicks! Back in the day, I went to a $1 Video Rental full of B-flicks. Mostly movies I would not see, some that I would see another day of the week as opposed to the crap in the theater these days!

I love these sets because some of them are films not available any where else, and others are films I may have never watched.

i'm sure a couple are some that you might not wanna watch too

Space 1999 drugs?

There's only a couple of stinkers, but they still provide more entertainment than the majority of big budget crap Hollywood is calling movies.
yea, and you didn't pay 20-30 bucks to see them either.

Yep, the most I paid for any of the sets was $15, and some of the films like I said aren't available any where else, so just those few films are worth the price- the rest of the films are like a bonus. There a couple of films you wonder what kind of drugs the filmmakers were on when they made them.

Had fun at the pre-dragoncon Brit Sci Fi track meet and greet today! Saw some familiar faces from the Firefly group and some new faces. Got to find out the BBC America is 3 years behind British Sci Fi shows. Also to look out for a British show called "Misfits".

The only costume I have is the striped suit for David Tennant's Doctor who (I just need to get a pair of white low top converse all-stars and a sonic screwdriver). It is actually my only suite which is meant for weddings, funerals, and interviews.

I did see a hotty at last year at the Dragoncon at the Babylon 5 pannel dressed as a sci cop! She could scan me anyday!

I've never been one of those who dresses in costumes when going to a convention or like some when going to movies.

Battlestar Galactica
the remade series..best series ever..
but the ending...umm not so good.

also,chronicles of Riddick...
would have liked to seen more of that theme continued..esp seeing as he had just taken over the entire fleet.

Chronicles of Riddick = Sci Fi version of Conan the Barbarian

I'm looking forward to the adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter of Mars(I read the Carter series as a kid)- there has been plans of a feature length adaptation since the 1930's. It's been in the hands of Ray Harryhausen, Jon Favreau, John McTiernan, Robert Rodriguez, now finally Andrew Stanton(Pixar). I think Rodriguez was heading in the right direction when he was planning it- he was going to have Frank Frazetta on as the production designer(Frazetta illustrated the covers for the John Carter series)

There was a straight to DVD "adaptation" in 2009....but it just looks like your typical SyFy Channel type movie.
