Morning Mingles

Good morning, Carol. Didn't get much sleep, yesterday. In-service and payday on same day, today which means going in at about 1pm then getting check at 2pm. Had a rough night with one resident, not her fault but I had to literally pick up the big lady and put her in her recliner. Shes the one with the meanest temper in the nursing home if she gets in the wrong mood. Really have learned how to do extreme sweet talking with her. Would rather take a beating than to get on her bad side. I felt so sorry for her as she has a lot of pain. I have tried to train the CNA to not to get combative right back with the combative ones. We were both trying to be on our calmest behaviors with her. Even the male nurse said just let her have her space and let the next nurse on duty know about it. Second shift had to give her a shower, yesterday against her will and man can that lady hold a vendetta. Hopefully, day-shift will just let her sleep it off and she will forget the whole incident. We can only pray.

We had quite a storm, last night. I thought the wind was going to blow the awning off the front of the building. It really rained hard. I guess up north it was worse.

Son sent me a message that he loved me on Facebook. It made my whole day.

Good morning, friends. Hi, Carol and Don. Hey, thanks for the coffee, Don. I had coffee made last night but never got a chance to really to drink any. I was too busy chasing call lights. The nice thing about Mingle is I don't even have to pretend I am superman. I like being Clark Kent. Its so nice to be off the clock.

Hi Don!! Live is hectic. I'm moving out of here in two weeks, my Mom was sick and work is busy. But all is going along smoothly. I've gotten use to the little bumps in the road. How about you? Still running all over the place?
