Topic: What's with the distance?

I'm new here, and I've noticed, in the one day I've been a member, that many of my contacts have been from people in other states or from men far too young. My restrictions are set at 25 miles away and 38 years of age; can anyone explain why this is happening?

Hi Dylanchick410, Make sure your mail filters are set to the distance you are looking for. You can do this by going to the "Mail" tab and then to "Filters" Here is the link http://mingle2.com/inbox/filters This doesn't stop members from viewing your profile though. Hope this helps, Kim edit it does look like it is set, so the admains will need to look into this.

Welcome to the site, Dylanchick410. What do you mean by "contacts", exactly? Are you referring to the accounts listed in your Search results? Or, are you referring to those listed under "People You Might Be Interested In" on this page? Your mail range is currently st at 50 miles, by the way.
