an accidental phone call.......lasting a "Good"...hour from someone you first met "here" in 07...whom you (RE)recognize!!!

THAT is "bafflingly" attracvtive!!!

That's funny because I have been talking to someone on Yahoo whom I met a few years ago...he was getting married then, now he is getting divorced:banana:

I have seen so many threads tonight based upon looks...I even created 1 or 2.

Just wondering...what do you consider to be attractive in your eyes? What do you specifically look for or would love to have if you could?

I am attracted to a BALANCE of things more than any ONE feature or attribute, however there are certain features and attributes that will automatically turn me OFF,,,

(most of those physical things , though, are easily 'corrected' or altered)

unhealthy skin, or hair, or teeth
or rolls or boney protrusions on someones physique,
vulgar or hurtful or unintelligible speech patterns
are IMMEDIATE TURN OFFS

broad shoulders on a male, a square jaw on a male, upright posture, healthy skin, masculinity in a male or femininity in a female,
a healthy smile, pleasant scent, intelligence, confidence, respectfulness and respectability(integrity) are IMMMEDIATE TURN ONS

It may be a cliche but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is a saying in Brazil "Há sempre um chinelo velho para um pé cansado!", goes something like "There is always an old shoe for a tired foot."
Off course looks might be the first attraction, but once you get to know someone it might mean nothing if there is no substance to back it up. And some of the most beautiful people I know were not pretty at first but as I got to know them, I was mesmerized by their beauty.
One thing I always believed is, when you are so old that all you can do is talk you better have chosen a good mate because looks will fade and you might spend the rest of your life with a dry plum with nothing in their head to keep you company.
Beauty is relative, what you consider beautiful differs from others.
Love to all!

I think that we "must" be attracted to a person physically to be attracted to them in the first place.. Anyone that says "looks don't matter" is not being honest about it. If someone approached them and had puss oozing from their face, I don't think they'd be attracted to them.. I could be wrong, maybe there is a person that can get over puss dripping on them when they're hugging, kissing, being intimate but I highly doubt it... I don't care how smart, funny, sweet, kind, etc a person is, if they're oozing puss it's highly unlikely that their great personality is going to overshadow the oozing puss... **Disclaimer "oozing puss" has been used as an extreme example**

I think what's meant in the "looks don't matter" statement is that they will be more attracted to a person b/c they have "other" attributes that in essence make that person more attractive...

I don't think I have a "specific" look that attracts me but there are features that I'm more attracted to.. From there it moves to personality, intelligence and sense of humor.. There are many, many other factors that will keep me attracted or turn me off from a person as well..

As far finding someone attractive forever, people grow old, it's part of life.. If you fall in love with them I don't think you notice the growing old part b/c you're growing old with them....

C'mon Joy! You know I have a "thing" for puss! love

This type of topic has been going on like most for a long time. I was just sitting here thinking. I really don't think anyone can actually label what their actually attracted to. The reason I say that is, because each person has there own look. So in my eyes just because you see something in one person, the next will have some other type of attraction that your attracted to. It's never been the same type of attraction for me.
