How long does it take to a get a book that was just released...?
seems like a stupid question but i never pre ordered a book .. |

Depends on if it is going to be a best seller....then you might have a SITUATION and it might take longer, but I usually got mine within three to five days.

I think that depends on the book company. I've had it arrive the day of, since the one company had it beforehand, and tossed it in the mail a day or two before it hit the stores. Amazon was 3-5 days after usually. When I've pre-ordered at the bookstore itself, I picked it up the day it came out, since they just pulled what I wanted off the to-be-stocked shelf and held it in my name.

Nice thank you hun hows you and the captain when you getting married He'll be here Thurs night!!! He's coming out for my birthday this weekend.  I wish I could say it is happening this weekend but I think those plans are postponed again until I sell the house.

theoretically, if you're having it shipped...they time it to show up at your house on the release-day.

I've pre-ordered books before and it has shown up on the date, or I have gone to the store and picked up a copy.
