This works for me on ribs give it a try.

DRY RUB FOR RIBS

2 tbsp. of paprika
2 tbsp. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. of sea salt
2 tbsp of onion powder
1 tbsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of cumin
2 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ground red pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 bay leaf

Combine ingredients in food processor or blender. Process until bay leaf is pulverized and mixture is thoroughly blended.

Store in airtight container. (An empty spice bottle with shaker top is perfect.)
Rub on ribs, pork roast or whatever you like. Let the meat sit in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Then cook as you normally would. This gives the meat a delicious barbecue flavor without the mess.

This sounds really crazy, but I saw it online a few years ago. It's so good. Very savory, and the steak is ultra tender.

Marinate the steaks in Worchester Sauce, cumin, crushed garlic rubbed into the meat with a bit of olive oil.. Then- sprinklea bit of Instant coffee over each Steak-as if it were pepper. After they've marinated for a few hours, let them stand for 30 min. at room temperature. Finally, grill, broil or even pan fry (in melted butter and olive oil). Seer on med. heat 4 minutes on each side...Less if you like it very rare.

Remove from pan. Let the steak "set" (covered with foil) for 5 minutes.....Add salt and pepper. It's ready to serve. It will be smokin hot delicious!

tequila, lime, and jalapeno's are my favorite marinade. works for anything. otherwise, olive oil, garlic, onion and a little balsamic vinegar works well too. not much of a marinade person though. and as far as spicing goes, blackened seasoning goes really well with steak. salt, pepper, and garlic powder is my normal way of seasoning steaks.

if everyone drinks 1 bottle, then it really doesn't matter how you cook the steaks because no one will remember anything anyways.
