A grilled cheese sandwich and potatoe chips ![]() Whats Irish bacon? Irish bacon is from the upper back of the pig. It is cured and smoked. Very similar to Canadian bacon. But has a fat ring around the meaty center. Fry it like you would belly bacon. The only real difference is that it has a more tender consistency. ![]() |

It contains less fat than belly bacon. It is also grand in boiled cabbage with potatoes. Just cut it thicker.

I personally feel it taste much better than other cuts of bacon. Even the Canadian bacon. I just like to eat bacon no matter what cut it is. It did give a grand favor to the BLT. Had it for lunch but have enough for dinner now.

Have not been a fan of pizza, unless I prepare one here. In Portland there is place called Kells Irish restaurant. They serve Irish bacon.
I like the pepper smoked bacons. The apple smoked, is one of my favorites. Like the jalapeño bacon too. |

Yes I looked. Try the place I do believe you would enjoy it very much. They moved much of the place from Ireland. The food is very much like you would find in Ireland.
