Hmmm this is a question that confounds me at times,

I have a higher than average IQ yet i do the dumbest things, i have very little common sense, yet i can work numbers in my head easily , yet cannot show someone else how to work it out on paper.
I can recall things in my head so that I can reenact things that have happened, yet i cant remember what I walked around the corner to getnoway I can spell difficult words yet simple ones will stump me.

I can recall things that I have heard or read years ago, yet at times i cannot tell you what i just read until days later.
Am I deep no I dont think so and I dont want to be, I like life to be simple, and nice, anything that is going to make me emotional, I would rather just not deal with and ignore. that way my world stays nicely balanced and happy.

if I read a book I wont be able to tell you if I read the book or watched the movie as i can see both the same in my head.

Dont ever tell me things you dont want me to remember as i will never forget it, but dont ask me to get you something at the shop as i will never remember it.

The brain is a wondeful machine, just wish I knew how to work it.

I don't consider myself at all intellectual. My mind zones out when it comes to math.

But I am deeper than the deepest ocean I think.

What ever "deep" means.

Wow -

You just reminded me. I went to see Chronicles of Narnia when it first came out. Brand new movie, never seen before.

I don't remember reading the book but apparently I did because the first 30 - 45 minutes of the movie I really felt I had seen before. The images on the screen were identical to the picture I had in my mind when I read it.

Do you consider yourself a "deep" and intelligent person? How would you define the term "deep?"...Do people in your life view you as "smart?" What does it mean to be "smart?" Is intelligence based on the abilty to "store" and memorize facts and figures and data? Or is about thinking in independent ways? Just some "food for thought" on a lazy Sunday morning...

no and yes

deep - vertical measurement

people in my life view me as kind and victimized but Im more intelligent than they know

smart is the abilty to retain and apply knowledge / information apprproately

no - memorization can be taught easily to anyone of any intelligence level - see 1 above - implementation is e'thing

u aska lot of ????
