In this calm of my inner peace, silence heals my visual views.
Compacted anxieties, circumstantial insanities, my mind reviews.
This world drains us of our vital moralities,
witnessing its destructiveness, leaving behind the human casualties.
Pain and heartaches, feeling surrounded, with all that it takes.
Misery and violents grow, home-less people with no-where to go.
So many days living, seeing, so many lives becoming, unforegiving.
Sitting here with eyes closed tight,
reviewing. Praying for God to bring some light.
In this calm of my inner peace, silence heals my visual views.
Meditation to ease my daily frusrtaions, then, I read the 'News'.

May each one of you find your inner strengths and its Peace!

It amazes me how normal days of living here in the USA,,can through words like these here,,make everyone turn and run away...

 See,,,,the problems here in this world,,,,come from,,,,
TURNING AWAY FROM THEM,,,and GOING ON IN YOUR LITTLE WORLDS you've all built around you..

WELL,,sorry to be the bearer of life's truths,,,,

All that we turned away from for so many years,,,,,is NOW,,,

SMOTHERING US with it's "LIFE", WE LET LIVE!!!!!

So keep turning THIS STUFF AWAY,,,and OFF on your T.V.s,,,,,,,, and THEN,,,,

Its knocking at your back-doors... whoa

And THEN,,,Theres no where to go, or call with any problems that brings,,,,because it will be,,,,,,,to late to MAKE-A-CHANGE,,,
That HELPS???scared

"How are you today?" I asked.
"I don't know. I haven't read the news yet," she replied.

That interchange caused me to reflect on my waking to the radio alarm blaring the news. It sets the tone for the day especially when it enters the dreamery where it concocts up something even more bizarre. There's no escaping bad news since the national broadcaster cancelled the morning music show.

I used to read newspaper articles on air for a specialty service for the blind. They were the only people I've ever encountered who liked bad news - it didn't disturb their equilibrium at all.

I'd love to find a way of removing the weight of the world from my shoulders. Perhaps meditating AFTER might help.

Thanks for writing the poem. "There's a crack in everything; that's how the light gets in."

I thank YOU,,,,for at least applying your time to respond to my poem here,,and to go beyond that,,and also show me and all the readers your perspective views to this..
I know it may seem trivial to BROADCAST,,,my big mouth about things we ALL SEE everyday,,,but my words here and my heart for US ALL to really try to STOP,,,,every once in awhile and REALLY THINK,,,about where we're at,,and what of our Children's,,,,,, children's, Futures

THERE is no separating us from the news or the NOW times we all live..
But I KNOW,,,,,,,many NEVER,,,,,really give that homeless person a real thought as to IF their REALLY in a hurt,,,or just Pan-handling,,,because we SEE ONE DOING THAT,,,and WE THEN CLOSE OUR EYES TO ALL OF THEM....and THATS why I PREACH HERE, lol..

To maybe,,,just maybe,,,allow a few good hearted people,,to reflect on their views of each-other.

ITS EASIER TO "NOT-LOOK" than it is to REALLY SEE!

and I loved your last line,,,,,

From abuse, drugs, truths, crimes, and all,,,,we get caught-up in finding what WE consider OUR FAMILIES PEACE and ITS LIVING,,,that we close out everything else,,because WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO WORRY ABOUT ALL OF THEM and THE BAD,,,,so we keep on keeping on,,day after day...

THIS,,,allows ME to THINK,,,,one person,,like your self here,,,now,,,
Has THOUGHT about life, living, hope and the dis pare of the many who are suffering in our towns and Cities,,

May God Bliss you and keep your always safe and well...
