I make beaded necklaces, earrings, bracelets and anklets. I sew also. I have an arts and crafts business that I started about 9+ years ago. Started out with a briefcase for my jewelry and a rubbermaid bin for my other items. Now I am up to 5+ rubbermaid big bins and some.... I sell my items at all types of events, fairs, festivals, conventions, boutiques, bazaars and I've even done a home show. Crafters, there is money to be made out there and it is so nice when people ask me, do I have a store. Makes me know that it is worth it that people think my items are good enough to go in a store. Great boost for my ego. Oh yea, I also have done a lot of special orders.

Some very nice stuff.

I am always looking for something that has medical identification or can be given to patients that need something pretty that will also serve as an ID.

I have etched so many zipper pulls with ICE #'s (IN Case of Emergency), Names, or things like diabetic ect..

Would like some really rightous looking canes.

Or wheel chair or walker bags.

I make the pouches that go on the rails of Hospital beds for hospice patients.

And the pillowcases that fit over the top end of the power beds so they stay up where they are suppose to.

Such gorgeous jewelry. You are very talented. One of the loves of my life did beaded and wired jewelry. It is so much more personal to have a piece that was made especially with you in mind. My ex also did wire wrapping. I just love to look at the things he made me. Remembering the trips to the bead store and me picking out what I wanted and then him painstakingly making it a master piece. I will treasure that jewelry forever.

I do that too Penny, sometimes I recycle my old candles and melt the leftovers into new candles but also buy scented oils and make candles, but just for myself.

Oh man, all these bits of creative input makes me want to go make something!
How cool would it be to have a meeting of creative minds, come together through something like this site. Too bad we're all spread around the world. tears

Hi. If you're doing that for your patients, you deserve a huge hug! Life can get really dreary surrounded by medical equipment, I know from experience.

About bracelets -- I'm going to message you an internet site that does fantastic, beautiful ID bracelets. Many are interchangeable, so you buy the tag once and sswitch bracelets when you want -- they fasten with small lobster claws. I bought a plain braided leather band and the tag; and I've made some fancier bracelets, including one I wore recently to my son's wedding. If you turn the tag to the inside of your wrist nobody knows...
Keep up the good works. I think someone should make a small pouch with plastic bottles inside to hold spices so people in hospitals, rehab centers, etc. could fix up that horrible food! Just an idea.

Message got blocked -- I truly understand.
Here's the site for interchangeable ID bracelets, if they let me post it:
www.laurenshope.com
I'm not connected, just a satisfied customer.
They['re pricey, but if you can bead, they could order just the tag and you could make the bracelets wit6h lobster claws from Michaels or anywhere.
Have fun and good luck.

I make jewelry and native american dream catchers and I can etch mirrors. I have sold it in the past. Looking for an outlet to sell it again. I have already tried etsy and it didn't do too well for me..how do I add photos here?
