Yeah I'm thinking the smart thing to do is to always buy them from the carrier but Myka did sell my old blackberry on ebay when she got me my new one...

well the people at verizon told me that if i report it to the police as stolen, it goes into the data base and it will never be activated on their network again, unless of course by some strange reason i reactivate it.


here's the rest of the story....on my way home last night i gpsed it several times and it kept coming back with the same location, so i called the manager and talked with him about my suspicions.

this morning i received an email from him saying he had recovered my phone and the waitperson (b!tch) had been fired for taking it. (turns out. after i left, she actually showed it to a couple of co-workers, claiming she had found it out in the parking lot....of course)

So did she take it while you were there or did you forget it and then she took it?

thanks davey...all it cost me was a 4hr round trip drive today, but it could have been much more expensive.

Ain't that the truth. Once upon a time they would have made some sort of offer. I had a hotel in Vegas overnight my wallet to me, but it took them two days to do it

I would have asked them to and if they couldn't get the funds approved then I would have given them a prepaid fedex but I wouldn't drive 4 hrs so I'd be motivated to save my azz the pain of sitting in the car that long...

I hear you on that Joy. For me though I might have tried to turn it into a business trip and let my company pay for it

I'm really bad about driving... I don't even like to drive to my sisters and that's only 52 miles away... LOL.. But it's the 91 to the 15 or the Ortega and neither one appeal to me much....

I avoid the 91 when ever possible myself, but I take the 15 out of preference all the time. Most of the time when I go to San Diego I use the 15 to come back.

But no matter what you have to deal with the 91... I hate the 91...

I almost never use the 91, I can usually find a way around it.

I've just been doing little jobs around the house today. Experimented with different stains for the kitchen cabinets today... Still not sure what I'm going to do.
