Several months ago, Isaish Washington and Patrick Dempsey of Grey,s Anatomy were in a heated arguement, in which T.R. Knight
butted in. Washington made some remarks about his gaiety in which many who watch the show did not know. Because it was a personal and private dispute, in which T.R. Knight instagated by butting into the dispute, I think that it was wrong to fire Washington, however because it happened on company time, there should have been some type of consequences, but what?

he called him a f*cking faggot!!! And then he denied saying it for which he was called out by the cast members as lying. Idk about being fired....I guess it was done out of political correctness and I wouldnt have fired him but his credibility as a human went out the window. It shouldnt have had anything to do with him being an actor on a show.

Yeah, I agree, in a personal arguement, things get said and its up to the people involved, to apologize and resolve it.
When knight interrupted the stupid arguement, he sort of took sides and got a mouthful of grief for it, but that should have ended it.

And Washington is known for saying people are racist because they disagree with him. Hes lost all creditability and he should have been fired. Not that I watch the show, its a waste of time.

Who Cares?

Those remarks are just wrong. Mr. Washington should have kept his racist remarks to himself. He is known for using the racism card himself. The pot calling the kettle black, so to speak. (not a racist remark by the way.) He got in trouble for denying it. That was the problem. I think Knight forgave him, publicly. As for being fired, I think that the company involved make their own decisions. It was never made clear that he was fired for that reason anyway. Washington says it was though. May be, who knows? I mean plenty of his co workers were upset with him for it. Maybe they didn't want to work with him anymore.

I wish him luck in his continuing work. He is a good actor. I like him, but am sorry he made that mistake. Can you imagine what kind of sh-t would have hit the fan, if the "n" word had been used?

I agree with scattrbrain. What if someone was to call Washington that notorious "NIGGER"??? I betcha he would be SCREAMING HIS HEAD OFF. His conduct got HIM fired.
