I noticed that when I go out on a first date the usual little things turn me off about a guy. Like what they wear for the occasion, if they shaved, or if they are decent tippers.

What turns you off when your on a first date? And is it something you notice a lot?

i went on a date once with a guy who didn't use a knife to cut his food. i don't mean string beans, more like steak. he was hack sawing away at it with his fork to the point of working up a sweat, and i was like "wth??" :)- that just did it for me. oh well...next!!

When they start talking while eating and food comes flying out of their mouth and they keep talking like it never happened...are they completely unaware?

I suggest a thorough interrogation before going out in public with someone you don't really know..

It saves some of this disappointment and dissatisfaction I'm finding in these replies..

When they talk or text on the phone. First date I want all your attention. Of course if there is an emergency you must talk

If they text...nothing more annoying

Animal hair all over car , clothing and house.

Bad teeth/breath .... Smoking .

Potty mouth .

Giant purse (women who carry a filing cabinet in their purse.)

Bad English (obvious signs of ignorance any laziness)

Dresses up for work and friends but looks like a Polish cleaning lady

while with you.

As long as she is slightly sane and puts out at the end of the night...I'm good to go. I'm easy to please.

Get something off the menu you are going to enjoy. Don't get some cheesy salad. Go ahead and eat normal. Don't sit there and think that I'm going to think you are a pig if you eat a burger. Or order the cheapest thing on the menu. Especially if I suggested the place where we are eating. I wouldn't pick a place I couldn't afford. And your damn right I'm paying.
