There is another way to 'view' the results of the brain scans...

Actual will comes from someplace outside the physical brain.

That would mean the 'will' came from either the 'mind' or the 'soul' (or both)...

and computes in a more vavorable time space frame of reference... (its way quicker) then the Physical Brain.

I totally agree. That is what I thought I attempted to describe. drinker

Where do you think the true self acquires its wisdom?

In my view, the true self has no need to 'acquire' wisdom. Wisdom is an innate property of the very essence of the true self.

Sounds to me like you're confusing Wisdom with knowledge.

Not really. Each inner self acquires wisdom and expands. We are the creators. (co-creators) It is because of us, the universe expands.

Knowledge is part of mind.

Fields exist within other fields. One does not go from the first field of the individual mind to the mind of the infinite source.

(You have access to that but you have to approach through the chain of command of many mind fields.)

You don't "know it all" nor are you "all wise" - because your field does not have the capacity for it.

Basically, you are part of God, but you are not the whole of all that is or GOD.

If you don't believe in free will then go sit in the corner, take it
easy, eat fries and twinkies for breakfast lunch and dinner and be
quiet. It won't matter anyway and the rest of us who know that there
is such a thing as free will be not have to deal with those who are
confused and believe that everything is predetermined.

I believe in the will. I believe it can indeed be free.
