ever been cast netting and if you have what was some of the rarest things you've netted in?

i threw my cast net out at simmons park in apollo beach once and dragged in a couple of seahorses that was kind of cool

i threw my bait net in a pond once and a lead weight from my net hit a duck in the head that was swimming in the pond and guess what....i liked itlaugh laugh

It is semi-desert mudwater fresh lakes here. Netting will get you the same thing as fishing with bacon.....catfish, perch, crappie, bass, crawdads, alligator snappers, Water Moccasins, Copper Heads, Cotton Mouths, Diamond Back Rattle snake, Nutrinas (water rats), Alligator Gar, Bull Frogs....

Nothing exotic this far inland.

I dragged in a couple of seashores....but I was using a really big net.

Aren't seahorses normally really small? I was snorkeling in Guam one time and almost got caught in a net. I didn't see it till I was right on top of it. But I'm guessing maybe it wasn't the same kind of net that you're talking about.
