Ive tried more dating sites than most single people I know, and have had progressively worse luck each time.
I tried being honest, saying Im looking for someone who shared my love of video games, was genuinely intelligent, no kids, and was looking for a long term relationships... What I got was droves of single parent women, not interested in conversing at all aside from small talk, who were curious if I wanted to hook up.
See, my rationale was that to find a beautiful gamer girl, it only made sense to check online... Because if she was what I was looking for, she'd be on her computer as often as I am and maybe get the same feeling of loneliness I got and wed find eachother that way... But things didnt really work out like that.
Its now almost 7 years since I figured out what I was looking for. Im practically having a midlife crisis over the utter lack of women that appeal to me in the area, and I feel like pretty soon Ill be too old to have kids and do the things I want to do.

I feel like I've sleepwalked thru the better half of my adulthood. Loveless relationships based on loneliness and settling have cost me many things including the lifestyle I wish I had.

Well the fact your almost 30 and "all" you do is play video games ISNT appealing to any self respecting woman of your age. A little gaming is ok but not wasting your life away doing it.

Funny. I get the eact opposite: I want to hook up, and all I get is droves of chicks who want long-term relationships. Oh well. I'll be off to Los Angeles soon enough. Plenty of hot, promiscuous chicks out there!
