No way. Don't fancy a pill that could ruin my sperm at all. And single men wouldnt take it because there is no need. So it's really down to couples who would take it and there are more than enough other contraceptives out there. well some women don't really fancy takin birth control that swells up their boobs and makes em hurt, ****s with their hormones.. and other not so much fun things that can happen.... no single man would have a need?! WTF? no single man would have a need to be involved in NOT creating un wanted children...huh? we will be the responsible ones, we will step up to the plate, we will do what needs to be done because we know you don't fancy being inconvenienced it's alright boys...were use to it,

I'm all for it.
I've been practicing male birth control for a solid fifty-seven years, with seven exceptions. My method in the last twelve years has been to stay away from sex altogether. The previous 25 years, all my lovers were over chidlbearing age, except seven of them. And all years prior to that I was celibate. With the seven fertile ones, we practiced unsafe sex, and nobody got pregnant. (Except me, I have a huge potbelly now.) One girl thought she was pregnant, and I went through emotions which ranged from "I did it!! I am numero uno!!" to "Jesus frigging Mary have mercy on me, I don't know what I am going to do." Eventually it turned out she had kidney problems, because she was drinking heavily and had high blood pressure at age 21 and a half. |

why can't the woman just be on birth control i think this will be the general response..... Since it is two party at least act, there should be two responsible for not making unwanted children, don't cha think? If it is a one party deal then I don't need to worry about birth control just batteries. |

Probably less expensive than birth control.
 Also I'm all for taking a pill. Getting a snip I dunno if I'm done having kids. If I get to a point in my life where I'm pretty damn sure I don't want anymore I might get a vasectomy. If it was at the request of a woman I dunno if I could go that route either cause what if we were to stop being together and I were to meet someone later who did want another child. Just so yall know my son was not a planned pregnancy I was using condoms at the time and I just about had to beg my ex to keep my son. I was there from the moment we conceived giving that woman my all for my son. At any rate this is all conversation people should be having before doing the act. I under stand how a moment can carry people to do unexpected things. But this is one of the topics I'd bring up when scouting a potential mate. |

why can't the woman just be on birth control i think this will be the general response..... Why should men put it on the woman to prevent contraception of a child......it should be just as important for a man to take the responsibility to prevent preganancy....I feel it would give men more control on who they procreated with.....now if they lay with a woman that is trying to trap them through a child they can be responsible enough to avoid the situation all together.....but then again there are rubbers and they don't use them How about this reason. If a woman gets pregnant and she has wants to have an abortion and the guy doesn't the guy has no say in the matter because its the womans body (by law). So she should be more responsible for birth control. With great power comes great responsibility. Well, if a guy really does want to have a say in it and doesn't want things to end in an abortion if an unwanted pregnancy happens, what's wrong with taking male birth control if it's available? |

I come from a big catholic family(no I'm not practicing nor do I wish to push my belief on others except where my seed is concerned). But yeah I kinda knew already what had to be done it was just a matter of doing it then.My son turned 11 in April and I never once regretted bringing him into this world.

My idea on this is that maybe it would work in a couple situation and that only. Though why can't the woman just be on birth control as that already exists and they even have kinds that don't require a pill. For single people it won't work. They guys are not the ones to get pregnant so I don't think they would be taking a pill everyday "just in case" they get laid. They are not like woman. they can't get it whenever they want. For one, peace of mind comes to mind. No worries about whether the woman is actually on birth control, or worrying about if the condom breaks, right? I dont worry about condoms breaking. Also when not in a relationship its more difficult for a guy to find someone to sleep with than a girl. Birth control has no extra functions for guys but for girls it can relieve symptoms of "that special time" and even help clear skin. A condom is way more convenient for a guy than a pill. We do. As far as I know its the GUYS responsibility to have a condom. |

I still ask why can't women take it? If it is sexist men won't take it then its sexist if women wont take it. Again if you read my earlier post I said women have MORE RESPONSIBILITY to take birth control because legally they are the only one that has any say on what to do with the baby when they are pregnant. If they want an abortion and the guy doesn't she gets an abortion because its her body. If you want the male to have equal rights over the fetus then I will consed the responsibility is equal. |
