Thank you. The Muslim I am dating accepts that I am Jewish and refuses to let me hide my religion or my tattoos (which are verses from God in Hebrew and Arabic) because to him, it is me and that is what he loves. He is willing to stay here in America if it makes me happy. He is helping me to pay for my ticket to go see my daughter in Israel because to him, my daughter comes first, then my family, then him.

He is good, kind and gentle of heart. Everything I ask is met with "As you like" and he makes sure that I am happy before his happiness.

So no, not ALL Muslims are bad. Just like not all Christians, Jews, Buddhists, what-have-you, are bad.
Sounds like you found a keeper, no matter what his religion. Im happy for you!! I hope the 2 of you stay together, thats wonderful to hear.flowerforyou

I got lucky. You know, before I met him, I had a string of bad relationships with American men. Not saying all American men are bad, but I was mistreated and used for my money by many of them. (They dared not cheat on me though... idky)

My boyfriend now treats me with respect and loyalty insomuch as to remove any pictures of any female friends from his phone and to also inform me of the few female friends he does retain are exactly that, friends. Nothing more. He cares not about my past relationships outside of my daughter's father. He respects that he and I are best friends as we have a beautiful princess together.

He hates it when I spend the money I work hard for on things and trinkets for him and he finds ways to put it back in my purse. He is still upset that I put $50 in our tank because I used the car for a day. He is planning on finding a way to sneak it back into my purse... lol *sigh*

Everything is considered "Ours" except for things that I own. That is considered "Mine", not "His" or "Ours".

Idk... Women are actually treated very well in Islam. It's the countries that practice Sharia law that are the ones that give Islam a bad name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia

Also, did you know that most Muslims cheered when Osama was killed because he gave such a bad name to Islam and destroyed the beauty of the religion?

Oh, and if Islam was soooo bad, how come it is the fastest growing religion in the world? Hm? http://www.wrmea.com/backissues/0596/9605013.htm

Sounds like you 2 are really in love, and have a relationship that explains love. The friendship, the respect, the loyalty, the sense of family, he sounds wonderful! And you deserve it honey. Now I know why you havent been on Mingle alot lately. I dont blame you, he sounds like a wonderful distraction.

And Yes, the muslims cheered when Osama was killed. The majority of the people of that country did not like or agree with him at all, but they dare not say it,or they would be killed. He held them prisoner, in their own land. It was their freedom, when he died!

Thank you so much for sharing this with me, I really enjoyed it!flowerforyou

I dont have a telescope, so I never get to see these things, but I do look at my ruling planet, which is "Venus" the goddess of love. I am a Libra. And it is always the brightest star in the sky. This may sound weird, but I pray to it. Its like, God made it super bright for my terrible eyes to see,(it sucks getting olderlaugh laugh), so I kinda feel like its him shining at me.

I really could care less about Islam except they spell out how to handle Infidels like me. There is no such thing as a progressive Muslim. If they were so progressive why not turn away form a faith of revenge and violence? There are other choices besides Christianity?

I am supposed to tolerate an intolerant religion? I can see how that can play hell on a relationship. I got to wonder how many women in the Islamic world wish to get away from it!

Morality is fine when it isn't coupled with wife beating or violence!

Hmm... Depends on how religious they are. I'm atheist, so conflicting religions don't matter to me. I have a lot of Muslim friends and some of which are just casual and some are "hardcore." I've talked about this with some of my friends that are Muslim. For one example. I was on a VOIP server with one of my Muslim friends and 8 or 9 other friends. And we started talking about that poor girl from a few years ago, whose husband poured gasoline on her and set her on fire. Horrible, I know... And we were all talking about it and my Muslim friend was like, "Yeah, that's horrible, but in our religion, you do as your husband says or you're punished." I was like OKAY... So, yeah, it depends how serious they are about their religion. I couldn't date someone who tried to convert me, constantly. I mean, if you wanna be christian, muslim, pagan, whatever, that's fine, just don't try to strong-arm me into doing it, too.

P.S. And I'm sure I'll get strange looks or replies from people because of me being an atheist. Please, if you're intent commenting on my choice of religion, or lack of, read this first. It's an article that I wrote a few years back, because it seemed to me that everyone who found out I was an atheist seemed to have horrible misconceptions about it.
