Good afternoon mingle friends... Warm here but rainy off and all all day.. Finally got my windshield replaced.. Have to go to another ortho dr next week to see whats wrong with my rt foot..looks like I may have to have surgery on it...

The weather is pretty nice now. I have been outside in it burning. While I was raking I found a rake head. I also found some nice metal rods and fencing material which will be good when I get back into building around the new room. A friend told me that I could just throw metal pieces into where I was going to concrete and it would be like re-barb for reinforcing the concrete. Lady and me were out there just watching the fire when I heard some rustling in the area next to the fence-line on the outside of my property. It was a fairly sized turtle moving in the tree leaves. I was just outside enjoying watching my neighbors drive by from the road and I was waving at them and they were waving back.

I have had the windshield on my van replaced by an windshield newer than my vehicle that was in the junkyard. The newer one has a crack in it too, now. I stepped on one of those sticker vines and it went through my sole of my left shoe and into my heel. Yup, all those sticker vines are going to be toast pretty soon. Vengeance is mine.

Good morning my fellow Minglers. The temperature is really nice here. I thought we were going to get a bit of rain but it just barely sprinkled. It has been good burning weather. I will burning some more, today.

Good morning, Carole. I am just getting off another double shift. State left, yesterday at the nursing home. Usually its 8 hours and I care. 12 hours and I am doing my job. But when the 16th hours comes I want revenge. Really its wasn't that bad last night. It can get funny when doing the report to the next shift. It is do you want the second shift report or the third shift. My CNA supervisor after reading of my report to myself sometimes just says okay Roy just home and get some sleep. 16 hours of walking on concrete floors jumping up to answer call lights can give you some real tired feet. I am ready to pass out now and will catch ya'll back when I come to.

Good morning Roy, Sorry to hear you had a long night.. I guess the only good thing about that is when you get your paycheck..

My good news today is my son in law got called back to work after being laid off 3 yrs..and he will be making a good wage.. YEA!

Bad news.. I have to have surgery on my right foot...have a tear in the tendon on the outside of my ankle..so am getting my bunion and toes fixed at the same time..will be outpatient surgery but won't be able to drive for 6-8 wks..not good! Surgery will be in Oct sometime..

Hope you all have a great weekend! (I'm going to PA for a couple of days to see my daughter)...Only 43 here this morning and its almost noon.. brrrr

aw girl, i hope your surgery goes well. i have never seen a bunion, so if you would, please take a full body picture just out of the shower and send it
