Once you give them an inch, they WILL take a mile and they have over time. Besides all that, why is it any of your business what a parent wants to name their kid? It's their kid, not yours or anyone elses. Just because you don't like what they name their child it gives you the right to tell them they can't? Don't we have more important things to be worrying about anyway than what a parent names their child? We need to get our priorities straight, this should NOT be one of them. |

As for the 2nd part of that, the state has no business dictating what we name our kids. Period. We should be able to name our kids anything we want to. Anything less just gives them that much more control over us. here is the deal they CAN name their child what they want, they can CALL Their child what they want,, the STATE does not have to aknowledge those names legally however, or permit them to be documented as such so, I can call my daughter 7 all her life, I can write it as '7', but when I go to sign legal documents, Im going to have to use an identification the state is willing to accept,,,,, |
