I've gone back 60 days to get a feel for the tone of this section. Reason being, I've heard some say it's not about the bible or Christianity in particular. Proving or disproving the bible or Christian seems to be on everyones mind here according to my findings so far.
94 percent of the threads here have involve part of the crowd being for the bible/Christianity or against it. The results are overwhelmingly in favor that the bible and Christianity are the two most popular subjects on our minds. |

"proving or disproving the bible" is most definatley NOT on EVERYBODY'S mind here no matter what your findings say so far. i've never broached the subject of the bible or christianity and i most certainly have never tried to prove or disprove the garbage. i think no differently about christianity than any other religious dogma. that the majority of americans are christian and the majority of topics raised here on a dating site in america are about christianity and the bible simply makes sense. if you were to continue your 'researcg' i'm sure you'd find that the majority of places people gather to worship in america involve christians and the bible too. were we in saudi arabia my guess would be that you'd have a difficult time finding a forum where christianity was the dominant topic. but i'd be there too offering my thoughts on islam just as i do here on christianity. |

Since general religion means all those who are religious or those who are not are allowed to discuss any and all religions in a matter of factual way and Christianity is a major religion in the world. It makes sense that it would show its face in this forum more than once.
Islam is discussed but propaganda on it being a terrorist religion is so strong it is hard to get past that part. People don't realize that most of the major religions of our time have participated in terrorism in one way or another throughout their history. So there is no difference if it is extreme Islam or extreme Christian, they are just as dangerous and damaging to people. The message from them is the same, you are either with us or you are the enemy. Either be saved or be damned. If you are not with us you are part of the problem. |

Terrorist are not Christians. They only hide behind the name to make them feel good about their cause. It's really sad that people would stoop to such levels. Using a religious mask to commit such things.

Using a religious mask to commit such things. very sad I feel the same way about people who condemn Christianity or any religion. very sad saying a terrorist christian is not a christian is not unlike saying a republican is not a republican or a democrat is not a democrat just because a party follower says they're not. it's the dogma. the dogma that can be interpreted to mean whatever the adherant dicides it means. what christians need is a supreme court like we have. nine guys and gals in robes who decides how the bible should be interpreted with their rulings standing as sacred. you already have plenty of folks with the robes, no? if you feel the same way about people who condemn christianity then you know full well what i mean. |
